Disambiguation link notification for June 3[edit]
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Mockingbird Lane (road), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page DART (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Non-numbered roads[edit]
Non-numbered city arteries like Dallas's Mockingbird Lane (road) have varying notability. I am familiar enough with Dallas that, barring something out of history or something else I don't know, the road is unlikely to have enough significant coverage from reliable, independent sources to survive a deletion nomination. Coverage which is merely incidental to a notable location on the road generally does not contribute to the notability of the road. However, a very large number of notable or almost-notable locations scattered throughout the length of the road generally will contribute to the notability of the road. A large number of notable or almost-notable locations concentrated in a small area may make that small area notable enough for a stand-alone article without making the entire road notable.
As far as I can tell, Mockingbird Lane's only "claim to fame" are the presence of Love Field, the SMU area, and the Mockingbird Station area from US 75 to Greenville Ave.
Unless there's something I don't know or something in the history books I'm not aware of, this page will likely fail if nominated for deletion. I plan on nominating it for deletion in the coming days unless there is something out there that I'm not aware of that would show that it meets Wikipedia's notability guidelines. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 19:41, 3 June 2014 (UTC)
