Articles for deletion

I notice you've nominated both Gay (disambiguation) and Lesbian (disambiguation) for deletion. Each of these nominations has been closed as a 'speedy keep' because you do not appear to have supplied any really sound reasons why, in your opinion, they do not match the standards for deletion of disambiguation pages. Can you please familiarise yourself with these standards before nominating anything more? I would also advise you that deletion nominations by very new users are often looked at critically by more experienced Wikipedians. You may want to get more experience before nominating again.
