Bolding of scientific names

Please note that a new WP policy has been agreed here: Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Biology#RfC_on_boldfacing_of_scientific_names_in_articles_about_organisms. Not an obvious place, and if I hadn't seen it, I would have made exactly the same edits that you did. So I appreciate that your edits were in good faith... but change it has. I've read lots of scientific papers, and I've never seen scientific names given in bold. It looks ridiculous. They should have asked me. I would've nixed those plans. BulbousCow (talk) 00:57, 25 September 2022 (UTC)
