FAR for Sei whale[edit]

I have nominated Sei whale for a featured article review here. Please join the discussion on whether this article meets featured article criteria. Articles are typically reviewed for two weeks. If substantial concerns are not addressed during the review period, the article will be moved to the Featured Article Removal Candidates list for a further period, where editors may declare "Keep" or "Delist" the article's featured status. The instructions for the review process are here. OnlyFixingProse (talk) 02:57, 15 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Bolding of scientific names[edit]

Please note that a new WP policy has been agreed here: Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Biology#RfC_on_boldfacing_of_scientific_names_in_articles_about_organisms. Not an obvious place, and if I hadn't seen it, I would have made exactly the same edits that you did. So I appreciate that your edits were in good faith... but change it has. Anaxial (talk) 21:34, 24 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I've read lots of scientific papers, and I've never seen scientific names given in bold. It looks ridiculous. They should have asked me. I would've nixed those plans. BulbousCow (talk) 00:57, 25 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
