March 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm M.Bitton. I noticed that you recently removed content from Decolonisation of Africa without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Disambiguation link notification for September 23[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Heritage Day (South Africa), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Zulu. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

page number[edit]

hi, thanks for your contribution at Makwerekwere but can you provide the page number for ref one, you can find it here .. FuzzyMagma (talk) 16:10, 7 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for the message. I have actually added the page numbers in the edited book by Prentiss. Chapter 13, where this reference comes from, was written by Chirevo V. Kwenda who on page 202 writes "the xenophobic and derogatory designation of foreign Africans is “Kwerekwere”—an obvious corruption of Korekore...". I will add a few more articles on this etymology, which is quite popular in sociology/anthropology in due course. Bupebwakwalesa (talk) 07:09, 14 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for doing that. I missed that edit FuzzyMagma (talk) 09:23, 14 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
