If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Developmentaid, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Dennis Brown (talk) 13:39, 29 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Comments on the Proposed Deletion of Developmentaid

[edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. A couple of observations that might help explain why the article you created has been proposed for speedy deletion. It would be worth your time to read the notability guidelines for companies as it explains what makes a company significant enough for a Wikipedia article. In general there need to be multiple reliable sources available that discuss the company. These sources need to be independent from the company so the links you originally provided won't demonstrate that notability. In general new companies aren't going to have significant coverage and won't meet the guidelines. In addition you write as if you represent the company. Wikipedia has a conflict of interest policy that you should read as it is relevant to individuals writing about themselves or their organisations. In summary the recommendation is that you should let others write about you. If you need any assistance please ask. Kind regards, QU TalkQu 14:20, 29 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
