Actors Theatre of Louisville Apprentice/Intern Company

[edit]

The article Actors Theatre of Louisville Apprentice/Intern Company has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki 19:10, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think speedy deletion was too hasty. Prod would have been a better approach. Speedy deletion gave nobody a chance to fix the article. That is a shame. Stevie is the man! TalkWork 23:41, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Creature 17.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. AfD nomination of 2010 NBA All-Star Game

[edit]

2010 NBA All-Star Game, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that 2010 NBA All-Star Game satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2010 NBA All-Star Game and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of 2010 NBA All-Star Game during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Chris! ct 01:26, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
