The Photography Barnstar
Awarded to all the people here who worked so hard to rescue this image. You'll have to share it, though: everyone gets one slice. :-) Lupo 21:39, 8 September 2007 (UTC). Copied here! -Susanlesch 14:56, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Aw, cheers muchly! Don't think I did much for it... CaNNoNFoDDa 15:00, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Due to his imminent departure from the post of IC, I've added a new image of Richard Thomas which does not contain visual reference to the ICO (Richard_thomas_lawyer.jpg). Thanks again for keeping this article up to date. Icocomms (talk) 11:33, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your work on this article! Darksun 22:10, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've added an image to this page (Richard_thomas_information_commissioner.jpg). I am an employee of the Information Commissioner's Office, and the image is owned by the organisation. The ICO is happy to submit this image, but I'm not sure if I have applied the most appropriate license tag to it. Do you have any advice? Icocomms 13:44, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks very much! I'm not that experienced with copywrite tags myself, but i don't think there is anything wrong with the one you have chosen. If you (or the Commissioner's office) would like to be attributed for all reprinting or reuse of the image, you may prefer {{cc-by-sa-3.0|Attribution details}}, or you could upload through wikicommons with a UK specific creative commons license - {{cc-by-sa-2.0-uk}}. You can also double-license it (apparently), although i'm not sure what the benefit of this is. I hope you like the article so far. CaNNoNFoDDa 17:12, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article looks great so far. Thanks for the info and keep up the good work. Icocomms 10:15, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just stopping by...

[edit]

To say thanks for your help with my mangled attempts at image upload. I've despaired of the process for the time being, but your work is much appreciated. Regards, Skomorokh incite 22:26, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, thanks for pointing out my error regarding the shared welcome template. Sorry if it caused any trouble, I'm still learning the ropes around here. AlphaEta T / C 20:58, 24 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ahahaha...

[edit]

Heh, thanks for the welcome, but I've been around for about a year now, and am fairly familiar with Wikipedia. I suggest that you check contributions before welcoming "new" people, but nonetheless, I appreciate the gesture. =P KojieroSaske 23:05, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, i was looking at your talk page history (since this is faster to do). Your history indicated you'd never been welcomed. CaNNoNFoDDaTalk 08:02, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the welcome!

[edit]

Thanks for welcoming me - it's been a little over a year since I've signed up for an account but it seems no one but you seemed to have cared (except for one other editor, but that was for referencing something). Thanks :-) - Do you know? 16:54, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome! Pass it on! CaNNoNFoDDaTalk 19:51, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thanks for welcoming NiZhiDao. I just happened to notice, and joined the Wikipedia Welcoming Committee earlier today. Is that ok with you? NiZhiDao had a user box saying something about 500 million. No idea but thank you, NiZhiDao and CaNNoNFoDDa. Best wishes. -Susanlesch 21:14, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sixty billion double dollars? It's a reference to the anime Trigun, in which the main character has that bounty on his head. CaNNoNFoDDaTalk 21:29, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
