Wikiproject Miami Inquiry
[edit]The reason why there are not separate articles on many South Florida middle schools is Wikipedia:Notability and WP:RS requirements. If the school you are asking about does not meet the requirements for a stand alone article, it can still be included in List of middle schools in Miami-Dade County if it has reliable sources. --Jorfer (talk) 18:18, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
- So then I should consider deleting this article then? Caledir Chat 03:40, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
- It's your userpage. The requirements do not apply to userspace. Wikipedia users are given wide latitude as to what they can have on their userpages. Maybe you'll find something that would make it pass the requirements for inclusion or maybe something happens later on that would have it merit its own article. There is no problem with you keeping it on your userspace just in case one of those events happen. There is more information on user pages at Wikipedia:User pages.--Jorfer (talk) 04:11, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
- What would you suggest is acceptable for it to merit it's own page? Caledir Chat 04:15, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
- Well, take a look at the List of Middle Schools, and see how the ones that have their own article compare to Hammocks Middle School. Receiving a Blue Ribbon award is one accepted way. You can take a look at how the ones that were nominated for deletion survived:

FIU Inquiry
[edit]Wait. Can you clarify who told you that more FIU pictures were wanted and when?--Jorfer (talk) 04:06, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
- It's listed as a task on WikiProject Miami. Caledir Chat 04:10, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
- Oh, that was put there in May 7, 2007 by an anonymous user, so it is outdated. If you are looking at a current list of things to be photographed in Miami-Dade, than take a look at Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Miami-Dade County, Florida.--Jorfer (talk) 04:19, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
