Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed maintenance templates from List of Star Trek aliens. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Please see Help:Maintenance template removal for further information on when maintenance templates should or should not be removed. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Thank you. Hello, Sorry if I did something really stupid on this. Well, the actual thing was that I wanted to make a long daily edit of the article to improve it.
While the rest of the edit is okay, not vandalism or any of that, you could have keep the changes.
I Apologize for what happened, I know WP is not a Fandom. Capaitan Kirter7007 (talk) 00:30, 6 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome to reinsert any changes you made aside from deleting the maintenance templates; that was the only concern I had. DonIago (talk) 01:37, 6 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Doniago. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, List of Star Trek aliens, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please review WP:IPCV as well. As this entire list is essentially discussing a pop culture item, secondary sources or WP:BLUELINKs should be provided for all aliens, as a way of establishing that they've achieved some level of real-world significance. Hello again. You can leave the edit like this, anyway it only appears in two episodes of Star Trek: Voyager.
Yeah, Star Trek has a lot of Real-World significance. Back when I watched Encounter at Farpoint I got loved with Star Trek: The Next Generation. I like the saga a lot and it makes me happy to see it! Capaitan Kirter7007 (talk) 01:03, 17 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, Star Trek does overall. But notability is WP:NOTINHERITED. Just because the franchise overall is notable doesn't mean everything associated with the franchise is equally notable and deserving of mention here. DonIago (talk) 02:37, 17 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
