Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Diederik Aerts, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Interference (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Possible Conflict of Interest on Diederik Aerts

[edit]

Hi, Caramel01, I see you have made numerous edits to the Diederik Aerts article, along with a few to other articles on topics related to him. This suggests that you are closely connected to him.

Wikipedia's reliability depends on its objective reporting of independently verifiable evidence. The Aerts article is cited mainly to Aerts's own papers (61/70 sources), which are for this purpose primary.

If you are Aerts or a close associate, please take a moment to familiarise yourself with Wikipedia's policy on Conflict of Interest. This does not forbid you from editing the Aerts article, but it does caution against it. In particular, you must not do anything that favours Aerts. Many authors choose to add edit requests to their own article's talk page to avoid any such conflict of interest.
