November newsletter
The newsletter is done and is ready to be sent out after you give it a look over. We had the same number of featured content as we did good articles, quite an interesting month! I think we need to start advertising for new members, we only got one this month. Thanks again for your amazing bot! --Nehrams2020 01:19, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
- Sending out now. :-) Cbrown1023 talk 01:57, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
- As you can see, sent out. Good job on the newsletter. :-) Cbrown1023 talk 17:51, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

Hi I noticed your posting of the closure of this arbitration case and I have a question. The 'Giano reminded' remedy only received 6 votes for it and as the majority was 7 am a bit confused why it has been marked as being passed. I have no experience of the RFAR process and wonder if I am missing something? Thanks. Davewild 17:44, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
- No problem, as shown in my talk page post to Paul August, the abstain vote lowered the majority for that proposal down to 6, so it only needed 6 to pass. Cbrown1023 talk 17:50, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
- Ah, thanks for the clarification. Davewild 17:55, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
November MILHIST newsletter
The November Military history newsletter is ready to be sent out, at Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history/Outreach/Newsletter November 2007. I'm not quite sure how your bot is set up, so please let me know what other information you need to deliver it. Thanks again! Kirill 19:59, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

ArbCom notices
Should !! (talk · contribs) be notified as well? --健次(derumi)talk 22:22, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
- He wasn't listed as a party to the case, so I didn't notify him. However, you are free to tell him yourself. If not, I can. :-) (Hmmm, I guess I can do it right now. :-)) Thanks, Cbrown1023 talk 22:39, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
- I wasn't sure of the normal etiquette or procedure; that was the first case I ever paid attention to from beginning to end. Almost makes me think that assigning editors to arbitrate cases could be a useful punishment. And thank you very much, too. --健次(derumi)talk 23:18, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
Firefox
Firefox has been protected for nearly a week now and, looking at the discussion page, it seems like one of the edit warriors has agreed to walk away. Could it be unprotected now? -MBlume 05:39, 4 December 2007 (UTC)

Hoffman arbitration
Can you, as clerk, tend to User talk:Whig#ArbCom MatthewHoffman case? You likely also have email. I'm not sure of protocol or whether it is wise, but given the evidence I introduced, it may be appropriate. GRBerry 20:21, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

Hello there. I wonder if you would be able to do some newsletter delivery for WP:AUS? Thanks, Blnguyen (bananabucket) 06:11, 6 December 2007 (UTC)

Durova/Admin is gone!
Why? Seems to me that pieces of this puzzle have already started disappearing. I have been trying to find out more about arbcom's actions but trils are running cold. ThanksSukiari (talk) 10:25, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
Could I please clone part of your bot? I would appreciate you telling me what I have to clone, the source code, and what I must do with it. The part I want to clone is the template substitution. <DREAMAFTER> <TALK> 23:33, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
- I don't really do those that often and when I do, it's just adding the word "subst:" to the template using AWB. However, you may get a better way to do this from one of the bot's listed on WP:SUBST#See also. Cbrown1023 talk 02:40, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
Indef blocked user has returned
In February, you blocked this user (Jance) as a result of this thread, which documents off-wiki harassment of another user user (THF). Jance has returned as an anon IP and is making inflammatory comments about THF ([1], [2], [3]). THF left the project several months ago after a conflict with another user (which went to arbcom). I was quite active in the case, mostly defending THF, and that's how I became familiar with the Jance/THF conflict.
I bring this to your attention because it involved serious off-wiki harassment (identity-spoofing) and you might want to investigate before it gets out of control. Thanks. ATren (talk) 02:45, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
- I blocked the IP for a week, but a checkuser did not reveal any other accounts. Cbrown1023 talk 22:31, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
Newsletter Delivery?
Is BrownBot available to deliver a newsletter for Wikiproject College football? I'm trying to get one started, and was told that BrownBot was the best. Thanks! —Preceding unsigned comment added by JKBrooks85 (talk • contribs) 03:50, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
- I should be able to do it, yes. :-) Cbrown1023 talk 02:14, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

- It looks absolutely fantastic. Thank you so very much. I really appreciate the work you've done, and if there's anything I can do for you, don't hesitate to ask. Now, it'll go out automatically from here on out, right? When should I have the next month's issue done by? JKBrooks85 (talk) 18:57, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- Nah, I set it off and then leave it alone. I'm not exactly sure how your newsletter is setup, so you can do the issue whenever and then just leave a note and I'll send it out. Cbrown1023 talk 22:32, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- Roger that. I'll drop you a line then. Thanks a bunch for doing this. JKBrooks85 (talk) 05:56, 14 December 2007 (UTC)

- Unfortunately no, it only distributes newsletters from a few WikiProjects that have chosen to create newsletters. There may be some WikiProjects that include what you would like in there newsletters though, you can find more information at the page I just linked. Cbrown1023 talk 03:10, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
