Films Newsletter

Hey man, how's it going? I finished the current draft, but I'm also having Girolamo Savonarola‎ take a look at it before it's sent off. Let me know if you can send it out, if not I don't mind doing it. If you do, it could be sent out tomorrow or Sunday. Happy editing! --Nehrams2020 (talk) 00:26, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

I should be able to send it out, just tell me when. I'm doing okay, just tired, how about you? Oooh, it seems I've missed your wiki-anniversary, happy wiki birthday! Cbrown1023 talk 01:04, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
The newsletter is now ready, you can send it whenever you like. I'm doing okay, these last few days I've finally had a break from school after multiple tests/papers due, and I finally go to catch up on some GA Sweeps reviews. Yeah, two years came pretty quick, but it looks like you have yours on Wikipedia in just a few days! Thanks again, I really appreciate it. --Nehrams2020 (talk) 03:59, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
No problem. :-) Sending it out now. Cbrown1023 talk 18:27, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

New York City Meetup

Next: Sunday March 16th, Columbia University area
Last: 1/13/2008
This box: view  talk  edit

In the afternoon, we will hold a session dedicated to meta:Wikimedia New York City activities, and have salon-style group discussions on Wikipedia and the other Wikimedia projects (see the last meeting's minutes).

Well also make preparations for our exciting Wikipedia Takes Manhattan event, a free content photography contest for Columbia University students planned for Friday March 28 (about 2 weeks after our meeting).

In the evening, we'll share dinner and chat at a local restaurant, and (weather permitting) hold a late-night astronomy event at Columbia's telescopes.

You can add or remove your name from the New York City Meetups invite list at Wikipedia:Meetup/NYC/Invite list.

You're also invited to subscribe to the public Wikimedia New York City mailing list, which is a great way to receive timely updates.
