This user is a student editor in Wikipedia:Wiki_Ed/UW_Bothell/B_WRIT_135_Research_Writing_(Fall_2017). Student assignments should always be carried out using a course page set up by the instructor. It is usually best to develop assignments in your sandbox. After evaluation, the additions may go on to become a Wikipedia article or be published in an existing article. |
Wiki Project 3
[edit]Site #1: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agenda_21 Contribution ideas:
- Expanding the implementation section and what exactly the goals of the Agenda are and which ones/what percent of them have actually been accomplished.
- Adding the connection that the opposition makes between the Agenda itself and the Wildlands Network (formerly known as the Wildlands Project), specifically the map.
- Also adding to just what people(opposition) fear from Agenda 21, especially where the opposition is more concerned with land use.
Site #2: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wildlands_Network Contribution ideas:
- Discuss what the opposition to the project looks like and why people are opposed to it (thought of as land grabbing).
- Discuss the project’s relation to the Urbanization solution discussed at the tail end of the Human Overpopulation wiki page.
Site #3: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Washington_State_Growth_Management_Act Contribution ideas:
- Adding more sources to support what the article states.
- Outlining the kind of implementation of the act.
- Summarizing the support vs. the opposition.
