Muhammad images

[edit]

I see that you've begun removing images from the Muhammad article, citing tenets of the Muslim faith. I appreciate that you feel strongly about this issue, but you cannot unilaterally remove images from an article, especially when other editors disagree. There is a discussion ongoing at Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Muhammad images, with the intent of finding common ground and (maybe) figuring out how to accommodate Muslim and non-Muslim editors and readers alike. Wikipedia is a consensus-driven project, and discussions such as this request for comment are how consensus forms - not unilateral action. If you are able, please discuss the matter and help us form a consensus.

While that discussion is going on, do not remove images from the Muhammad article. Any further removals may result in your being blocked from editing.

Note further that your edits are being discussed at the Administrator's Noticeboard for Incidents. You will want to comment in the thread on that page, found here. Best, UltraExactZZ Said ~ Did 18:48, 16 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
