I don't know who got supper giddy with the removal of topicons... but my Coffee account is still OTRS certified (and practically always has been). If the OTRS icon isn't replaced on this page again now, I'll be following channels from meta down to ensure the English Wikipedia didn't start forgetting it has no authority over OTRS matters. And that goes specifically for @Winged Blades of Godric: who seems to not have been unable to remove their nose from business that has no matter to them. But, if they'd like it I'll gladly start an official harassment report with the Foundation at this point. ☕️ (talk) 16:53, 30 May 2018 (UTC)

Coming to the edit-request, adding the topic icon enlists you in Category:Wikipedia OTRS volunteers which means that people can misleadingly deem you to be someone who can help out in en-wiki related OTRS chores, despite your inability.See this thread for an example.And, I'm strongly opposed to a blocked user, operating in the concerned OTRS division. OTRS exists for us, not the other way round.Obviously, I don't give a fuck about what you state in your common's user-page et al.~ Winged Blades^Godric 17:15, 30 May 2018 (UTC)

Mildly, we might all be making a bigger deal of this than it's worth. I've restored the icon, because this account is still listed as an OTRS volunteer at meta, and the block is self imposed so can pretty easily be reversed if requested. Suggest we can probably move on with an appropriate assumption of good faith on all sides. -- Euryalus (talk) 21:36, 30 May 2018 (UTC)
