Minus vs ndash

Hi Colonies Chris. You are going great work in taking care of ndashes in articles. Please only be careful and not change the minus symbol inside the DEFAULTSORT. Here is one example out of many. Latest AWB version makes the change automatically so I think it won't be a problem. I am just leaving a message so you are informed of the matter. Thanks again for your great work using AWB. -- Magioladitis (talk) 21:50, 29 June 2013 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

June 2013

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to List of Florida State University people may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
 • of Six Feet Under, True Blood, American Beauty

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 19:36, 30 June 2013 (UTC)

Exactly what I have in mind

Well done my friend. Ty for noticing me the RfM. If you check many articles about the subdivisions of European countries (such as those Iceland), there are countless that retain the diacritics. One of my primary logical reason: as long as we have diacritics in those titles about European subdivisions, the same case we do for Vietnamese ones since it also uses the latin alphabet.

BTW, I see you are somewhat an expert on wars between China and its neighbors (specifically Japan, Korea, and Vietnam). There has been like 20 or so military conflicts between China and Vietnam. I hope you could create a lot more articles about them. And please remember my words last time: keep the Vietnamese diacritics and always put Vietnam on 2nd place similar to what we already have (Cham-Vietnamese, Franco-Vietnamese, Sino-Vietnamese). Cheer. ༆ (talk) 20:56, 10 July 2013 (UTC)

Provincial capitals RM

Hi. As you participated in Talk:Bac Ninh Province you may wish to be informed that there's also a RM for the same-name-capitals of 5 of those provinces at Talk:Bac Ninh. In ictu oculi (talk) 02:44, 12 July 2013 (UTC)

History of Gibraltar edits

Hi Colonies Chris. Just a friendly note--reverting other editors' contributions in most cases shouldn't be marked as a minor edit per WP:MINOR. I'm sorry for inadvertently reverting yours! I believe you and I entered into an edit conflict while working on the History of Gibraltar article, and I attempted to merge the edits but something went wrong. Hopefully I'll get it right next time! Cheers, kristephanieTALK 16:51, 13 July 2013 (UTC)

I think, instead of deleting the same and re-editing every time and arguing it amongst ourselves, let us talk to the most authentic person on this and confirm the same and then post it.

Thank you for the disambiguation. I had missed that. Adam Cuerden (talk) 18:44, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
