Duplicate Args
Howdy, just an FYI your WP:AWB is introducing some duplicate args into pages (Category:Pages using duplicate arguments in template calls). Make sure you are using preview before saving. I recently made this same mistake so not in any way trying to chastise you, just provide some helpful feedback. :-) --Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 16:50, 27 September 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks, but can you be specific? Which args, which articles? Colonies Chris (talk) 16:53, 27 September 2018 (UTC)
- Oops! I had a typo in my initial comment that was hiding the category link. Check out Category:Pages using duplicate arguments in template calls. That should help! --Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 18:47, 27 September 2018 (UTC)
- 2016–17 Dunfermline Athletic F.C. season was one of them. I think most of them have been fixed at this point, but just something to keep an eye on. If you use the preview you should see an error message at the top of the page when you have duplicate arguments. Test it out? --Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 18:49, 27 September 2018 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for September 30
An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 1931 FA Cup Final, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Half back (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).

List of renamed places in Angola
Hi Chris
Something odd happened in your AWB-driven edit[1] to List of renamed places in Angola.
Breaking a category name and removing a sort key is not a "fix".
As a one-off item, it was easily fixed, and I would usually just revert and move on. But since you were using AWB, please could you check whether your AWB run caused similar errors in other pages?
Thanks --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 18:31, 25 October 2018 (UTC)
- Sorry, this was a manual addition to an AWB scan, so just a slip of the finger. Fixed now. Colonies Chris (talk) 18:35, 25 October 2018 (UTC)
Fennesz + Patton listed at Redirects for discussion
An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Fennesz + Patton. Since you had some involvement with the Fennesz + Patton redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. -- 70.51.45.46 (talk) 05:26, 14 November 2018 (UTC)
Full-back
Why are you changing all the instances of "full-back" to "full back" in your automated edits? The term is supposed to have a hyphen in it... – PeeJay 23:30, 14 November 2018 (UTC)
- Well actually I don't know that there's any consensus on this - fullback, full back and full-back are all widely used. If you can show that there is a consensus, I'll be happy to stick to the preferred form. Colonies Chris (talk) 23:54, 14 November 2018 (UTC)
- I'm happy for you to strive for consistency within an article, but if that consistency already exists, I would suggest that you remove that term from your automated runs. – PeeJay 17:22, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
- The best example is here, btw. – PeeJay 17:22, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
- Also here. – PeeJay 17:23, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
- OK, I'll adjust my regexes to retain whichever form is already present. Colonies Chris (talk) 18:06, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
