[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not replace pages with blank content, as you did with this edit to Category:MICROMINE deletion, as this is confusing to readers. The page's content has been restored for now. If there is a problem with the page, it should be edited or reverted to a previous version if possible; if you think the page should be removed entirely, see further information. Thank you. — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 15:59, 24 November 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Hi, thanks for message.
MICROMINE had all sorts of problems. It had been tagged for pov, close paraphrasing and advertising by other editors, and the text was obviously spammy; is the leading provider of intuitive software solutions... five software solutions cover the entire mining process... only provider of end-to-end, fully integrated software solutions and so on.
yet you haven't done the same for the Maptek page - I wonder why? — easy, I've never heard of it. I found MICROMINE because it had a speedy deletion tag, that's all.
I looked at Maptek. Although there may be an excessive emphasis on the products, the language isn't overly promotional and it has some proper references. I don't think it's suitable for speedy deletion, especially as it's been around for nearly two years and hasn't been tagged. You could nominate it for deletion via WP:AFD, or clean it up yourself. - I've deleted your inadvertent category creation above. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 16:04, 24 November 2012 (UTC)
