Andreasegde topic ban

Hi, Coren. Back in July, you closed a discussion on WP:ANI regarding disruption on t/The Beatles articles; that discussion is now found at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/IncidentArchive760#User:Andreasegde is disrupting a discussion and straw poll @ the Beatles talk page. Your closing statement says, "Andreasegde is topic banned for one year from the Beatles, broadly construted, and both they and User:GabeMc are indefinitely banned from interacting with each other except for eventual participation in formal dispute resolution." Recently, due to ongoing problematic behavior related to the mediation, with the agreement of the mediators, the topic ban was extended to cover the dispute resolution itself (i.e., he was kicked out of mediation and the current RfC). In the process of this, there's been a question raised on User Talk:Andreasegde about whether or not the topic ban as you originally implemented it is meant to apply only to mainspace, to mainspace and article talk space, or to all namespaces. In particular, the question is whether or not it extends to user talk pages, including Andreasegde's own. My understanding is that topic bans usually cover all namespaces unless otherwise noted, but I'd like your input on the matter. Qwyrxian (talk) 22:20, 8 October 2012 (UTC)

I'll go read that discussion now and see if there is some way of clarifying matters. — Coren (talk) 22:47, 8 October 2012 (UTC)

snowdonia society

I wrote the text when I was the director - that's why the wiki and society website text are similar. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wyddfa (talkcontribs) 16:38, 21 October 2012 (UTC)

IPv6 rangeblock

If he's really going to be stopped, his entire /64 should be blocked. That's what Comcast (to which 2001:558:6026:97:B14F:0:0:0/80 belongs) gives to its customers, AFAIK.--Jasper Deng (talk) 03:53, 26 October 2012 (UTC)

Hm. In retrospect you are certainly correct; I hadn't even noticed it was an EUI-64. — Coren (talk) 11:57, 26 October 2012 (UTC)
