WP:3RR warning

[edit]

Hello. Are you User:128.36.102.14? You seem personally vested in the Alberto Contador article, having made your first three edits ever to it. Editing an article you feel that strongly about is probably not a good idea. Your reversions go in the face of WP:RS, and are not helpful to the article. In other words, sometimes the truth is ugly. Accordingly, you should be aware that you technically already have violated WP:3RR, but as you had not yet been warned about it, you are not subject to blocking. If you revert the Alberto Contador article again before 17:27 system time on October 5, you will be blocked.

Welcome to Wikipedia, and I hope you become a prodigious contributor. Green-eyed girl (Talk · Contribs) 19:44, 4 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Alberto Contador has been reverted, as it appears to have removed content from the page without explanation. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 9 hours for edit warring, as you did at Alberto Contador. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
