Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Cswoodward, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few links to pages you might find helpful:

You may also want to complete the Wikipedia Adventure, an interactive tour that will help you learn the basics of editing Wikipedia. You can visit the Teahouse to ask questions or seek help.

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. Again, welcome!

I am assuming from you user name, by the way, that you are Carol Woodward. If not, you should change your user name as it is not allowed to have someone else's real name as your user name. Your recent changes to Carol S. Woodward look neutral and unobjectionable, but I think you should read WP:AUTOBIO — it is not generally considered ok for subjects of Wikipedia articles to edit them directly. Instead, if you have changes to suggest, you should make them on the talk page of the article, and wait for another editor to notice and perform them (or you can call more attention to your request using the {{reqedit}} template). On other subjects than your own biography, there is less of a conflict of interest and your expertise could be very helpful here. —David Eppstein (talk) 00:33, 14 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
