Radio Cairo
[edit]Radio Cairo currently redirects to an unrelated page, Voice of the Arabs. Radio Cairo used to be an international Egyptian state station broadcast to many parts of the world in many languages. Now it ceases to exist and there is another radio station of a confusing name, Greater Cairo. Voice of the Arabs always has a famous announcement "هنا القاهرة" (Here is Cairo). This may be a reason to confuse foreigners and people unfamiliar with the topic that they are the same thing. All of Egyptian radio stations are based in Cairo, unless they are regional.
