Paul Whitehead

[edit]

Hi Holly - you're very welcome. And yes, for a first article it's a very good effort -- my early stuff was a mess frankly. Sounds like your dad would make a good wikipedian, as his attitude seems to sum up what the whole project is about in a nutshell.

I've made a bunch more changes (mostly to the formatting of the references) on my sandbox page (here). If you're ok with what I've done you can copy that in to the live article.

Again, any queries just shout. Arthur Holland (talk) 17:41, 20 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Paul Whitehead page query

[edit]

Hi again Holly,

I'm afraid the Paul Whitehead (politician) page has been deleted and now redirects to the page for California's 36th congressional district. The reason for this (and I should have spotted this myself when I responded before) is that he doesn't meet Wikipedia's notability requirements for a politician -- specifically, he is (to date) only a candidate and not an elected politician. By all means have a look at the notability page (and the general notability page too) and if you can see any reason for reinstating the page give me a shout and I'll see what I can do.

Apologies for that -- you'd obviously put a lot of work in and it seems a shame for that to go to waste. Arthur Holland (talk) 12:00, 26 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
