Hi and thanks[edit]

I can't believe that despite all your contributions nobody's ever even dropped in and said "Hi" or "Thanks" So: Hi and thanks for everything you've done -- Timberframe (talk) 20:23, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

Timberframe, Thanks. I'm not sure how to reply. I peck away as I can. Dadofsam (talk) 02:42, 18 July 2009 (UTC)

Me too. Just wanted you to know it's appreciated. -- Timberframe (talk) 08:53, 18 July 2009 (UTC)

Hi, Dadofsam. I left you a comment on Wiki Declaration of Helsinki. -- Bioethica (talk) 17:06, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

Edit summaries[edit]

Hi, your edits look good, and add my thanks for them :-) But you don't need to sign edit summaries with 4 tildes, and it doesn't work :-) Just talk page posts. Yngvadottir (talk) 20:58, 5 December 2014 (UTC)

That's a relief! Thanks for the correction, Yngvadottir. (If it does'nt "work," how did you catch me?!)
It is besides your edits - your name comes up automatically, on the article history - that is why we caught you... Hafspajen (talk) 03:18, 6 December 2014 (UTC)

Yngvadottir might need to adopt you a little - you were editing for a long time, no? Hafspajen (talk) 03:20, 6 December 2014 (UTC)

Yes, Hafspajen, for some years I've mostly addressed issues digital copy-editors deal with as I've run across them -- grammar and spelling, broken links, etc.. If you'd prefer a have a keeper (Yngvadottir, for example) that's fine.

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
