Daniel, thank you very much for offering to mediate. I'll take time either later today or tomorrow to type up diffs showing what I see as the problem. In a nutshell (from my perspective), the other party has been removing information and sources s/he doesn't like. My position is that we should write a biography that reflects the published view of Reich, whether we like it or not. He was a very complex man, widely considered mentally ill and a crank by some people, and regarded as a genius by others. My aim is to write an article that reflects both sides of the picture. I suspect that is also the aim of the other person in the dispute, but removing sources that we don't like isn't the way forward, in my view. Anyway, more later, and thank you. Many thanks, Daniel, for your offer of mediation. I already started with givng my view of the dispute on the page you created for this purpose. --Nescio* 20:36, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Daniel, I was unable to add some text at the mediation page (the browser always froze). Therefore here:

(You may move it to the mediation page, if you can)

As you can see at the Wilhelm Reich history page, SV is very busy at present time. She seems to be quite enthusiastic about a book on Reich I recommended to her (by Myron Sharaf, for whom she immediately started a stub). Maybe SV will proceed to read Reich himself too, and will then arrive at a stage where she will be sorry for having me reprimanded (and reverted resp. deleted) again and again when I tried to correct the gravest (and nevertheless "long standing") errors of the article.
Anyway, the object to be mediated escaped, since SV wrote a completely new lead. Good for you, that you did not yet delve into the complicated matter of this conflict.
