"Photo by Danny with Love."[edit]
Hey, while we appreciate the new images you've added to articles, you should not add "Photo by Danny with Love." to each one's caption. The kid reading the article on Mario will have no idea who or what "Danny with Love" refers to, especially since it's not mentioned anywhere in the text. If the creator of the image is relevant to the article, then only then its inclusion is appropriate. The user can always click on the image to see its source. Yes, and furthermore, you must remove all of your credits in all the image captions in the articles immediately. They can only go on the image's own info page. Just so you don't assume that ThomasO1989's advice is any kind of opinion, the official policy is WP:WATERMARK. The only allowed credits are in historical content or for extremely notable photographers like maybe Ken Burns. Finally, some of your images are going to be deleted as copyright violations, so you should take photos of more diverse scenes instead of just a copyrighted likeness such as that Mario one. Somebody deleted my photo of a building with a mural on it for that reason, because the mural is implicitly assumed copyrighted. — Smuckola(talk) 04:57, 13 February 2024 (UTC)
