A tag has been placed on The Gungner Theories, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

It's not so much the copyright issue (though see WP:COPYRIGHT), as that there was no indication that this unpublished book was notable (see Wikipedia:Notability), as recognized by reliable independent sources (see Wikipedia:Verifiability. We get dozens of people a day trying to post articles on the books they're working on and hope to publish someday. Thanks, NawlinWiki (talk) 17:36, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
- Notability for inclusion of books is laid out in Wikipedia:Notability (books). The criteria are such that even a published book is not notable enough to automatically qualify. Therefore your book, which is both uncompleted and unpublished is highly unlikely to qualify.
- Furthermore, writing about yourself or things you are officially connected to is strongly discouraged on wikipedia by Wikipedia:Conflict of interest, as it goes against the aim of wikipedia to produce a neutral verifiable encyclopedia. Connected to that, using wikipedia to promote your book violates Wikipedia:Spam. I strongly recommend you read those pages, especially the How not to be a spammer section of the latter.
- While wikipedia may not be the place for your book, I do encourage you strongly to stay and contribute. the knowledge you've gained researching and writing your book may help improve articles related to its subject matter.
