(The above is a template greeting, but Hello, Darren, and welcome to Wikipedia!)

I'd noticed your article on Ex-pastors was nominated for deletion at AfD. The link to the discussion is at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ex-pastors. You seem to be new to Wikipedia, so I want to mention that an AfD nom doesn't mean the article absolutely will be deleted. It does mean that a consensus discussion is going on about whether it will be deleted, kept, or some other action taken. You may want to familiarize yourself with WP:DELETE and WP:OR to find out the deletion policies and about original research, which is what the original nominator place the nomination on. You can, of course, join the discussion both on the AfD nom page and at Talk:Ex-pastors

Personally, I think it's a good subject for an article and that you've made a really good start on it. I think it has elements which merit either being an article or becoming a part of one. However, Wikipedia operates by consensus (mostly...) I'm thinking of creating a "Sandbox" page to house the contents of what you wrote in the hopes that, should the article be deleted, it could be worked on and brought back in some form. If you feel like it, drop by my talk pages to discuss the idea. The link in my signature "Laugh With Me" will take you to my talk page.

Again, welcome!
