Copy/pasted content
[edit]Hi there, it appears to me that content you added here at List of Sofia the First episodes can be found verbatim at iTunes. You may not copy prose content from other sites. There's an extraordinarily obvious note that appears when you click "Edit". It looks like this:
ADDITION OF COPYRIGHTED INFORMATION
Information cannot be copied directly from other sources, including official sources, unless these can be verified to be public domain or licensed compatibly with Wikipedia. All content must be written in original language to comply with Wikipedia's copyright policy. For more information see Wikipedia's copyright FAQ. |
PLOT SUMMARIES MAY NOT BE COPIED FROM OTHER SOURCES. THEY MUST BE WRITTEN FROM SCRATCH IN YOUR OWN WORDS.
This notice is there to discourage copying from other sites. Wikipedia takes copyright violations seriously. Copying from other sources like this doesn't make the encyclopedia stronger. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 01:08, 13 June 2016 (UTC)
Final warning on copyright violations
[edit]Final warning on copyright violations. In this edit you added a plot summary that appears verbatim here. You're not helping the encyclopedia by adding content copied from other sites, you're harming the encyclopedia. Plot summaries must written from scratch in your own words, not copied or even closely paraphrased from other sources. Wikipedia takes copyright violations seriously. If you submit copyrighted content again, I'll suspend your editing privileges. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 18:26, 4 July 2016 (UTC)
