Recent edit to Midnight Rider (film)
[edit]Hello, and thank you for your recent contribution. I appreciate the effort you made for our project, but unfortunately I had to undo your edit because I believe the article was better before you made that change. Feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions. Thank you! Onel5969 (talk) 15:57, 14 October 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Your recent editing history at Midnight Rider (film) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. - Gothicfilm (talk) 16:44, 14 October 2014 (UTC)

Your recent edits to Midnight Rider (film) could give Wikipedia contributors the impression that you may consider legal or other "off-wiki" action against them, or against Wikipedia itself. Please note that making such threats on Wikipedia is strictly prohibited under Wikipedia's policies on legal threats and civility. Users who make such threats may be blocked. If you have a dispute with the content of any page on Wikipedia, please follow the proper channels for dispute resolution. Please be sure to comment on content, not contributors, and where possible make specific suggestions for changes supported by reliable independent sources and focusing especially on verifiable errors of fact. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 17:53, 14 October 2014 (UTC)
Hello, DavidGroveCam If you want to make changes to the Midnight Rider film, I suggest you raise your concerns at the talk page, instead of just chopping content out, even when it is sourced. What we call WP:edit warring is not likely to produce a good result. If you are now editing under the moniker GoyaLover, it does not help your case, as other editors will be less likely to consider your edits to be in good faith. This account has been blocked indefinitely as a sock puppet that was created to violate Wikipedia policy. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not, and that all edits made while evading a block or ban may be reverted or deleted. If this account is not a sock puppet, and you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}} below. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 15:49, 16 October 2014 (UTC) |
- Please note that this Sock Puppet account was clearly created to impersonate a real life person associated with events, documented in national journals, related to article. It is obvious from content, and has been verified with real life person, that they had no association with this account.DFinmitre (talk) 18:07, 16 October 2014 (UTC)
