Trump Derangement Syndrome

[edit]

If the article is permissible in the first place based on that source, there is no reason to delete the explanation based on the same source. You can seek other opinions on the talk page or at Wikipedia:Teahouse or arrange to ask for the article to be deleted through the appropriate deletion process, probably articles for deletion. I have not left any template "warnings" because I think you are in good faith and have a reasonable question. I have now noticed that the summary I saw on Huggle appeared that you deleted more of the article than you apparently did. The article has other content based on other sources as well. Nonetheless, I think some consensus is needed before that source, which sometimes appears in other articles, is used as a basis for deletion of content in this article. Perhaps a consensus on that could be used as a precedent in other articles. Another place to raise that question besides the Teahouse or the article talk page is Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard. Donner60 (talk) 04:12, 20 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I just thought that it was odd, given the circumstance that I've never encountered that source in a Wikipedia article. Additionally, given the condition that the term has gotten a lot of media attention due to Trump's recent tweet, I was trying to mediate political bias by giving the article factual information (not something off of the urban dictionary).

It is also wise to learn how to sign your posts. Majority of people here don't like to go into page history and see who wrote what... ~~~~--Biografer (talk) 02:35, 22 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
