Tom Petty 2017
[edit]Hi David, let me start off by wishing you a happy newyear. I wish you all the best for 2024. I'm a little amazed at how I am the first to reach out to you since your first registered edit in 2015, not counting the above two templates. I have a question regarding the photo that you uploaded to Commons of a live show of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers on August 22, 2017. I am currently working on an article about Petty's debut solo album on the Dutch Wikipedia. I want to dedicate a paragraph to live performances of songs from the album. Turns out they played a couple during the August 22, 2017 show. For that reason I was planning on including the photo. Using the default [[Image:...|thumb|...]], the picture is a little unclear. I could increase the size. But would you by any chance have other photo's of that show, that you haven't uploaded to Commons? If yes, would you be willing to? Best, Hiro (talk) 17:44, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks! You can see the other photos from the August 22nd and August 28th, 2017 shows at:

- Let me know if you'd like me to upload any of them to Commons. Davidwbaker (talk) 18:29, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
- Those are nice photos! Thank you for being willing to share them. I thought about it for a few days, played with different setups. I think I'll stick with the photo shown here. I made it a bit bigger in the article than the default image width and centered it on the page. Looks quite nice, if I may say so myself. Hiro (talk) 21:53, 7 January 2024 (UTC)
