Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the article CohnReznick, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);

  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

I forgot to say thank you for the welcome, JesseRafe -- and thank you for this further information. I will in future recommend edits using the "request edit" page. I understand the COI concern and will in future ensure to disclose any material interest in editing company-related content. (As a lawyer, I take yours and the general concern very seriously.) Are you able to review my previously made edits and verify that they are correct? I only wanted to ensure that the latest, most accurate material was on the Wikipedia page. As you will note, the content is objective in nature (i.e. relating to numbers and rankings/awards). If that's not proper protocol, I am happy to recommend my previously made edits through the "request edit" template. Again, thank you for your help and patience, JesseRafe! I think they all pass muster and am glad you're so agreeable. Agree that they're objective updates and not an attempt to aggrandize the subject, which is the driving force behind the concerns. But if, say, there was a change in executive leadership or something like that, where there could be an appearance of COI in the phrasing, it might be better in an instance like that to request an edit on the Talk page. But if you felt inclined to update 2019 employment data in a year, I think simply going ahead with the edits yourself are fine and non-COI.
