Answer to your question: "Why won't you all leave me alone?"[edit]

You must feel pretty hounded if you felt the need to change usernames. I'm not here to hound you. I'm here to help. I'm your friend.

The reason we posted at your talk is that, while we appreciate your edits, we don't want to clean up after you. We are trying to help you be productive, without us having to bother you.

Would you like to create stubs without anyone ever posting here, except to say "thank you", "keep up the good work", and "here's a barnstar!"? I can help. It's easy, and you're soooooooooooooooooooo close.

This is how you left the stub:

This would be a good minimum:

It just needed the binomial and authority in the taxobox, and the reference to the species itself: http://www.marinespecies.org/aphia.php?p=taxdetails&id=139989 Then, all you need to do is add the talk page template like you see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Flabellina_babai&action=edit

That's it. :)

My favourite thing of all is to find images with no articles and stub them. Some view bare-bones stubs with no image as no-so-worthwhile because the genus article can list the species, etc. Some think they're worthwhile because it encourages others to add an images and expand the stub. But giving an image a home is always good, I think. There are lots to choose from by browsing taxoboxes, and by going here: Wikipedia:Requested articles/Images.

Let me know if I can help. If you take my advice, I promise, nobody will bug you and everyone will love you. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 23:43, 4 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the new nudibranch articles[edit]

Thanks Democracy112 for setting up a bunch of new nudibranch articles, we can always use new gastropod coverage. Please don't feel badly that people are suggesting improvements you can make to your new articles. Those people are trying to help you contribute in a really first-rate way, and become a highly valued contributor to the encyclopedia. Wikipedia is above anything else a collaboration. We all try to learn how to work together, in order to make the encyclopedia really excellent.

And so a lot of the time people are making suggestions to one another on their talk pages about how to improve stuff. It still happens to me a lot, and I have been here for about 5 years already.

All good wishes, Invertzoo (talk) 19:33, 5 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Actifry requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you.
