Hi Derek: You didn't specify what article you had seen that in, so I was unable to track it down, but I believe you ran into one of the differences between UK and US English. In the US, "two hundred two" is correct; in the UK, "two hundred and two". See the first paragraph in Comparison of American and British English#Numbers. Our policy on the English Wikipedia is to use the variety of English appropriate to the topic of the article, if any, and since The X-Files is an American TV series, that would be US English in most articles that would mention the episode number. (If there is no subject-appropriate variety of English, we usually follow the usage that first became established in the article; see here for a fuller explanation. I hope that answers your question; there are a surprising number of variations in English usage worldwide, it isn't just spelling or even vocabulary. Yngvadottir (talk) 19:50, 1 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
