Welcome to Wikipedia, Dinnertimeok! I am Mastrchf91 and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome! @Mastrchf: Is it necessary to sign my username after I've deleted stuff on the talk page, like the {{locateme}} tag? Dinnertimeok (talk) 07:25, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Mastrchf91. This talk page is yours to use, and you do not need to sign your usename when you remove stuff from it. However, on article talk pages, you shouldn't delete anything. The signature is more there to help us know who said what. - DigitalC (talk) 07:32, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, after reading your request more clearly - yes, once the geographic information is entered, you can remove the locateme tag from the article talk page without signing anywhere. Alternatively, you can make a note in a new thread on the talk page about how you have removed the locateme tag, and why. (This would apply more to other/different tags, where there might be dispute as to whether or not the tag should remain). - DigitalC (talk) 07:36, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
