If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Jason Halbert requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. J947 23:57, 3 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Magnolia677. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Jason Halbert, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Just to let you know...

[edit]

Do you know what a sock puppet is? It is when one person uses multiple accounts and acts as if they are different people. Wikipedia has rules against it, and it will get someone blocked from being able to use the site again. Especially if they do something like use the multiple accounts to vote.

Of course, the reason I am telling you this is --- I don't want to open up an SPI (sock puppet investigation), but there is enough evidence to justify one. If you are a sock, please go back to the vote page and remove all but one of your votes. You don't seem like a "bad" guy nor do you seem like you are up to no good. But rules are rules. If we open an SPI, and if found guilty:

  1. your accounts will be blocked
  2. your IP(s) will be blocked
  3. anytime in the future that you are found to be using Wikipedia, even for legitimate purposes, you will be blocked

Being a sockpuppet on WP is serious business. Once a sockpuppet, always a sockpuppet. You won't be coming back.

I hope I am responding to you in the correct manner, but I assure you I am not a sockpuppet and have only one account here and this is it.
I hope an SPI investigation won't be necessary, but if that is the common practice I'm sure you will find I have only this account.DirectorSandy (talk) 19:34, 8 March 2017 (UTC)DirectorSandy (talk) 19:43, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Well, ok, I will take you at your word. But, like I said, if you are, go delete one of your votes. We'd rather have you confess and correct your mistake, than try to hide it. Hiding it, especially now that you know about it, is why people get banned if proven guilty. 2601:983:8100:ED08:533:3975:EDC:A8C3 (talk) 21:00, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I'm glad you will take my word for it because I'm telling you the truth. I will not be removing my vote because there is nothing to hide. It's my only vote on the subject of Jason Halbert. Actually, it's the first and only time I've voted on Wikipedia.DirectorSandy (talk) 21:18, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately, it doesn't matter anymore. Someone must have seen the same things I saw, because they opened up an SPI. It wasn't me. Like I said, unlike many socks, I didn't see you doing anything "evil" the way most of them do. Which is why I was giving you the chance to clear it up on your own. I guess I typed to slow.
Either way, it is out of my hands now. You will either be blocked, and the page deleted, or you'll be cleared and then the vote will determine if the page stays or not. 2601:983:8100:ED08:533:3975:EDC:A8C3 (talk) 21:33, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Oh well. I'm shocked that someone else is accusing me of being a sock. If they are doing an investigation they will find out that I'm not. DirectorSandy (talk) 21:37, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

SPI

[edit]

You are suspected of sock puppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then, if you wish to do so, respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/DirectorSandy. Thank you.
