The Incident in Lez was carried out in the period 1–3, September 1998 by MUP. As part of this action, KLA positions in the villages of Lez, Kushtendill, Malsia e Vërrinit(former Lubyqeva) and Hoçë e Qytetit were attacked. The biggest conflict with KLA militants took place in the village of Lez.
