Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Manchester Today, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Manchester Today is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Manchester Today, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Blackpool Gay Radio

[edit]

Hi, I deleted your article on Blackpool Gay Radio because it was a one line article about a company with no indication of its notability. I suggest you read the notability guideline, and then recreate the article indicating how it is notable, if it does indeed satisfy that criterion. Please let me know if you need any help! Some cookies to welcome you!

Welcome to Wikipedia, Dlharrison! I am Aleta and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome! Two things: possible conflict of interest and invitation

[edit]

Hi, I notice your user name is very similar to one of the names listed of the presenters of Blackpool gay radio. If you are one of the hosts of that station, you should be aware that writing an article about a topic to which you are close is highly discouraged. Please read through WP:COI.

Secondly, that you are writing this article makes me think you might be interested in the LGBT Studies Wikiproject. I invite you to check out our project page, and, if you so desire, to join us. We'd love to have you! :) Aleta Sing 18:39, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]
Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Blackpoolgayradio.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 21:28, 10 September 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. OsamaKReply? on my talk page, please 21:28, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
