- Hi I am introducing myself on a classmate's talk page. So, hello my name is Natasha Thomas. I am a Public Admin major in my Sophomore year. It is my first time using Wikipedia here so I hope I'm doing this correctly. I'm looking forward to collaborating with you and others in the class. Natashaliu1993 (talk) 23:21, 5 February 2015 (UTC)
Article Critique
[edit]I read Trajan's (the Roman Emperor) article. It was definitely one of the most concise and well done articles that I have read on wikipedia. It covers everything from his early career as a Roman soldier, his rise to becoming a General, Consul, and eventually Emperor. The only thing I would say the article could really do to expand on is his popularity and public perception as early on he was not an overly popular Emperor being the first non patrician born Emperor. His construction for Trajan's Column was in part to show the Italian Citizens his military exploits. The article also paints a near perfect picture of Trajan, it could probably due to expand on some of the negatives of his rule rather than expanding only on his most famous and impressive exploits.
