Hi,
My name is David Alves and I was born in Rhode Island. My parents found out that I am deaf when I was two years old and they decided to sent me to the Rhode Island School for the Deaf. I traveled to Portugal often to visit my grandmother and other family that are still living there. I graduated from Gallaudet University last May 2017 with BA in Deaf Studies and minors in Education and ASL. I am currently a part time student at Boston University. I am also currently working at the Rhode Island School for the Deaf as a Job Coach under the Transition Service program and also employed as a Substitute Teacher.
Rhode Island School for the Deaf moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Rhode Island School for the Deaf, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the confirms on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. David Mullowney and I want to create a new page on Rhode Island School for the Deaf. I found some old information about RISD in the RISD Library. Dnalves1990 (talk) 01:41, 20 February 2018 (UTC)
