Hey. Please use your main account, rather than this sockpuppet account, if you're going to start WP:AN/I threads and push for sanctions on other editors. Not only is it good general practice, but the use of sockpuppets in internal project-related discussions is explicitly inappropriate. Thanks. MastCell Talk 22:16, 16 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Your opinion (as this clearly seems to be) might be more authoritative if you could cite some specific policy. Otherwise, please keep your opinions off this talk page. Dodad Pro (talk) 01:16, 17 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The policy is WP:GHBH; using this sock to "stir up controversy" on AN/I without attaching it to your main account violates that aspect of policy. A more specific description of acceptable practice is here: Sockpuppet accounts are not to be used in discussions internal to the project, such as policy debates. Happy editing. I'll keep this in mind and will remmeber not to be disruptive or to discuss policy with this account, but as I suspected your objections turned out to be alot of fluff. Dodad Pro (talk) 12:44, 17 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You are of course welcome to regard them as such. However, the prohibition is not only on policy discussion, but on all internal project discussions, including ban discussions and the like. Hence my concern. MastCell Talk 18:54, 17 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
