Hi, I reverted your edit on Montreal because Language_spoken is not a valid parameter for the template {{Infobox settlement}}. To learn what parameters are valid, you can read the documentation for the template. And to avoid mistakes like this in the future, please use the Show preview function to see how your edit looks; in this case you actually would have seen a warning at the top: Preview warning: Page using Template:Infobox settlement with unknown parameter "Language_spoken".

Additionally, English is also widely spoken in Montreal, so if you were to add back language information, it should reflect that.

Lastly, this edit should not have been marked as minor. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia: it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word.
