Citation templates[edit]

Hi, I see you're working on the R.B. Pearson article, and that you're having some problems citing the books he has written.

Please consider using a template for citating books: read Template:Cite book. And have a look at WP:FOOT, to learn how to use footnotes.

Little context in Nancy Appleton[edit]

In order for articles to remain on Wikipedia, they must meet a number of guidelines. For articles about individuals, notability is a significant requirement - more information can be found in the Criteria for notability of people article. More generally, you may also want to read the Your first article page for new editors. -- MarcoTolo 20:55, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of John Lomacang[edit]

A tag has been placed on John Lomacang, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD a7.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. → AA (talk) — 10:53, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article R. B. Pearson has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No sources found to indicate this author meets the notability requirements of WP:NAUTHOR

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
