FYI (double spaces)

[edit]

Hey, just FYI, the wiki software renders double spaces as single spaces, so you don’t generally need to remove a double space after a stop. I sometimes remove them as part of more substantial edits, but it’s really not something that needs to be done as its own edit. FOOian men categories

[edit]

Hi, I noticed that you added several people to the Norwegian men categories, Arthur Nordlie. That category is a container category, which means that pages shouldn't be added to it. WP:EGRS has some useful guidance on when we should categorize people by gender, etc that might be helpful for you. Mason (talk) 21:02, 17 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Road kill category

[edit]

Are you sure this is an appropriate category to add to articles about individual dogs? The category states the main article is Roadkill which states in the lead: 'Roadkill is a wild animal that have been killed by collision with motor vehicles.'

I don't believe this category is meant to be applied to individual animals that have been killed in a collision but rather the broader concept. Traumnovelle (talk) 17:08, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Good point. Thanks for keeping an eye out. I'll remove them Doomhope (talk) 08:52, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:45, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
