Gillian M. Turner
[edit]I sense that you'll struggle to write a bio for Gillian Turner (Q121033513) unless you have good sources tugged away somewhere. It seems she was appointed to the postgraduate chair in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Auckland in 1992, coming from England at that time, and retired in 1999; not exactly a period where sources are plentiful. There's a geophysicist of the same name at Victoria University of Wellington and whilst not a professor, there's a lot more available about her: Gillian Turner (Q57908543). - I added names to the list to explore rather than because I was sure there was enough about them. I'll see what I can dig up on Gillian Turner through the library. She was author on a very widely used textbook that went to at least three editions (https://archive.org/details/undergraduateobs0000unse/page/n3/mode/2up) but that won't be enough to keep her off the 'not enough sources' part of my list!
