Unbeknownst to me, I violated Wikipedia's guidelines by submitting a username that reflects my place of employment. I'm happy to adjust my username if that corrects the issue. Admittedly, I registered for Wikipedia after noticing the page for my employer reflected inaccurate information. I did not, however, know that I was violating Wikipedia's policy by doing so. I do plan on becoming an active, contributing member of the Wikipedia community, and I apologize for my ignorance.(Dreamland BBQ (talk) 20:34, 9 December 2019 (UTC))

Nothing specific. I'm on Wikipedia pretty regularly when I have free time. Again, I admittedly registered specifically to make factual corrections to my employer's page, but I agree not to do so moving forward. Yes, so I have renamed your account from Dreamland BBQ to jdbird3586. I have looked at the editing that you did before the block, and it does not seem to me be at all promotional, though evidently it does to the blocking administrator, NJA. @JBW: The first edit is promotional and the user admitted being an employee of the company on this page. Regardless, due to the name change and understanding expressed by the user about policies on promotional and paid editing I am willing (and have) unblocked. They are advised any further promotional editing that violates the policies could mean an immediate indefinite block, N.J.A. | talk 11:48, 18 December 2019 (UTC)
