The Thai version of The Signpost[edit]

Hi, there is considerable interest in giving the English Signpost a more international focus, and in gathering information on the equivalent pages in foreign-language WPs. You recently added a link to the Thai version. I don't read Thai, so could you let me know some basics, such as how long it has been going for, how often it is published, and whether there's a contact who might be willing to share important news about the Thai WP?

Actually, my google translator makes it look not at all like The Signpost. I'm a little confused. Tony (talk) 14:40, 6 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thai Wikipedia's signpost (สารวิกิพีเดีย [sarn-wikipedia] = The wikipedia journal]] has just established in May 2010 from the community agreement to have a newspost in order to publish some new important changes or community conclusions. The user who take responsibility to build this page and update is user th:ผู้ใช้:Horus, or you can contact by using Thai wikipedia embassy for foreigner's questions. · Dr.Garden · Talk! · 00:43, 7 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
