Sandbox

Please note that pages in your personal sandbox, such as User talk:ESP613/sandbox, are not allowed to be filed in mainspace categories as if they were finished articles. The page must not have any categories on it while it's in sandbox space, and instead categories may be added to it only if and when it becomes a finished article in article space — and that is not a rule that you're free to disregard on the grounds that you want your sandbox page to be treated as more special than everybody else's sandbox pages.

As I've already had to remove the page from categories it can't be in three times today, note that there won't be any more leeway: if I see it back in any categories a fourth time, I'll be forced to lock it down so that you can't edit it at all anymore. Hi Bearcat! Please forgive me, I only figured out this morning that you were the one who deleted the categories. I couldn't understand why they kept disappearing. I didn't realize it was against the rules. Won't happen again. ESP613 (talk) 18:14, 28 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
