Conflict of interest

Hello, EditNYC1102. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest.

Re: Changing Information

Hello, I posted some general information about how Wikipedia works above. But in a nutshell, in biographies about living people everything should be cited to published reliable sources. If you are a representative, you generally shouldn't edit the article at all, to avoid conflict of interest but post your suggestions and relevant sources on the article talk page for other editors to review.
